Ralphie is a 6-year-old, 13-pound brown and white smooth coat JRT cross male with a lovely undocked tail.
Ralphie was a much loved dog by his person until their home burned down and then his human found out he had a terminal illness. Under the circumstances they had to move in with the extended family, this sadly made it impossible for Ralphie to join him, so this pint size bundle found his way to the rescue.
What joy he has brought with him; he obviously loves the world, all dogs, all people, with a tail that never stops wagging! Very active, Ralphie loves to play with other dogs, has tons of energy, great ball chaser, king of the zoomies and chewing on his chew toys, which he shares fairly. A little tyke who travels really well in the car, the vets adored him (their only complaint? his tail never stops!!), and he wants to be with his person as much as possible. A snuggler that sleeps closely under the covers, and is very polite. Ralphie will need a refresher course on housetraining but he is a quick learner and he listens well.
Ralphie will be having ACL surgery for his torn cruciate, but after a couple weeks of recovery, he will be ready to head home. Currently living in the JG home sanctuary with many jacks and a huge lab, he shares well, plays hard and sleeps soundly.
