Luke is an 8-year-old tricolor, longhaired male Jack Russell/Papillion mix, weighing 13 pounds. Luke’s mom was a Jack Russell. Sadly, Luke’s family had to relocate quite suddenly and were unable to take their dogs with them.
This delightful little boy has tons of energy, and he’s been a lot of fun to have at the rescue. He gets along with other dogs, as a matter fact we think he misses his companion. He loves to play chase, and be chased.
Luke is a great walker, and the Jack Russell in him dominates his character with a nose for hunting, the desire to play ball, and the enjoyment of long walks with his constant energy. He is great on leash; he has been crate trained and is a very polite little dog. Luke also rides beautifully in the car.
This little mix gets along with all people, and enjoys the company so he can snuggle and be doted upon. Luke will be getting a dental at the end of the month of October and will then be ready to go home to enjoy his next stage in life with his new family.
