LOLA

Lola is a 3-year-old black and white, female smooth coat Jack Russell Terrier with an undocked tail who weighs a stocky, muscular 17 pounds. This delightful little girl arrived with her 1-year-old son Wemby. Their beginnings have not been great, but they are looking for that brighter future ahead.

Fearful and barky at first upon meeting new people, treats and a kind hand brings kisses and tail wags. Eventually belly rubs are desired. Lots and lots of energy, it is obvious that they have not had much exposure to leash walking. New things seems to have passed them by.

This JRT has shown no interest in toys or balls. Barriers concern her, so she does not like crates.

Lola is learning to walk on a leash with a harness, but prefers to do zoomies and run like crazy with her son Wemby up on the agility field. They get along really well and have confidence when both are up against new experiences together.

Lola appears to be housetrained, and certainly enjoys the company of people when she knows them. A perfectly secure fenced yard is necessary, but her ideal life would be just enjoying a fenced yard with Wemby, sunning and rolling in the grass.

They don’t want for much except a safe and secure family to show them what a real home is like. They don’t need to be adopted together, but it would be nice to see them able to stay with each other. Apply to Adopt Lola and perhaps Wemby too
