Slick is a 9-year-old black and white, broken coat male Jack Russell Terrier. A stocky and quite sturdy lad weighing 20 pounds. An extremely handsome dog.
Slick originally came to us when his first owner passed and the family could not keep him due to circumstances beyond their control. Slick then landed with our wonderful foster Pack of Jack’s father-in-law who bonded quickly with this amazing dog. Quite unexpectedly and suddenly, Pack of Jack’s father-in-law passed away and Slick once again is left without his own person.
Slick is having a hard time settling in with 4 other Jack Russells and a cat in his temporary foster home, so we are now looking to find this magnificent JRT a forever home.
He gets along with most dogs, but it be best with a female, but would also do very well to be his human’s one and only.
A most beautifully bred Terrier, he is so very well behaved, gentle, and amazingly kind. Having lived on a farm all of his life he loves to hunt and run! This dog is housetrained and enjoys riding in the car. He is very gentle with the dog savvy children in his foster home.
Slick is extremely active as is any Terrier, but also a dog that knows how to be a couch potato and snuggle. In his current home he is always willing to greet new people calmly wagging his tail nonstop, looking for a pat on the near. He is not a barker but quietly greets strangers.
Slick is searching for that special person. A terrier longing for a loving home once again. There is no doubt this dog will keep you busy, and be excellent company.
Slick is currently in WV with Pack of Jacks until we can find him the home where he will thrive and be loved.
