Purl is an 11-year-old female, tricolor, smooth coat, shorty Jack Russell.
This wonderful little girl came to us with her housemate Diesel. Their owner passed away, and her daughter unable to keep both dogs, brought them to Jacks Galore. We gladly took them in, as they are delightful dogs.
Diesel and Purl can be rehomed together, or separately, but individually they will need to be only dogs.
Typical Jack Russells, Purl is prey driven and loves to chase the ball. Tearing them apart is her favorite job. Purl is extremely well housetrained, rides beautifully in the car, crate trained and a great leash walker. She has a delightfully calm stride until she sees a critter and then all bets are off!
A most delightful short JRT, she does resource guard her person with strange dogs. If she has a toy, she prefers not to give it to you, but will trade for a treat.
In excellent health, her blood work was perfect. Our vet gave Purl a dental and now she has pearly whites and clean breath. She didn’t lose too many teeth either!
This girl’s wish is for long casual walks, cuddles, squeaky toys and nice long naps. Might she be the one for you? Would Diesel and Purl remain a pair?
