Finley

Finley is a 6-year-old rough coat male Jack Russell Terrier, white with a small amount of brown on his face, who weighs about 16 pounds. Finley came to us when the breeder closed her doors and we were asked to take in some of her stud dogs.

A lovely gentle Jack Russell who longs to be loved and know companionship. Finley is not quite aware of what it means to be a pet. He walks well on a leash until he thinks he’s too far from home, and also loves to lay in the sun in a fenced in yard where he can get up and do zoomies if the need arises. This lovely dog chases the ball but is not sure what it’s for, and will come running back without it to get some attention and pats.

This JRT is crate trained, appears to be housetrained, but might need a refresher course in the beginning. He rides beautifully in the car and is very quiet. Finley wants nothing more than to be near your side, to know that his life will be full of joy and long walks. Stuffy toys would be a great asset as it brings out the prey drive!

Finley would do best with a gentle calm female to help him learn what it means to be a dog again. No male dogs need apply.

When there is sun in the room Finley finds the spot and curls up to rest and dream of a happy future. Apply to Adopt Finley
