Charlie is a 6-year-old male smooth coat brown and white Jack Russell who weighs around 16 pounds. Charlie came to us in the New Year and was adopted, but because of a sudden change in the family circumstances, he came back to Jacks Galore.
When he returned we brought him into the house and he is residing with 6 other sanctuary jacks. Charlie will not be staying in sanctuary, but he will be with us until he finds his forever home. He’s a charmer, he gets along with all our dogs, but it is very evident that he would prefer to have his human all to himself.
Extremely well behaved, super smart, fully housebroken, and listens well. This JRT is a delight to have in sanctuary but he definitely deserves to have his own family and not reside in a “JRT retirement home”!
Charlie is looking for someone who can give him lots of exercise and long walks because he really enjoys long meandering adventures. This Jack Russell adores chasing the ball, and has quite a bit of speed on him, talking to himself as he catches it and returns it for you to try to get it from him. Not always successfully! He entertains himself well with toys, tossing them in the air and being very vocal as he plays.
Charlie rides beautifully in the car and adores people, just a very mild-mannered handsome young dog. He needs to be given another chance, and once again be adored by his people.
