ADOPTION PENDING!!!
Velma is an 11-year-old mostly white, female smooth coat Jack Russell weighing 15 pounds. Velma found her way to us when animal care and control was alerted to a dog abandoned in a local apartment. Asked to take her in, we were more than happy to bring this lovely, happy, sweet sweet senior into rescue.
Velma never stops wagging her tail. Velma is so joyful when showered with attention; given the love that she deserves is heartwarming. Very well housetrained, she walks beautifully on a leash and has tons of energy for a senior. She keeps a perfect pace for a good long walk. But then again she is a Jack Russell, so there’s no surprise. This beautiful girl loves to run around, to explore stonewalls and field holes on her long wooded walks. She rides well in the car, and is crate trained, but would rather not be in one if possible, except in the car crate she adjusts well.
This dear girl is in good health; she recently had a dental with a few extractions and the mammary lipoma removed. She’s all healed and ready to go home. This lovely JRT gets along with other dogs, and has so much enthusiasm that her past has not daunted her at all.
With more years of life ahead, she has more energy than many dogs half her age. Velma finds great joy being loved and snuggled and will reward anyone who adopts her with sheer devotion. Apply to Adopt Velma
