There’s never been a time when we’ve had such a wonderful group of jacks waiting to find their forever homes. Cozy in the kennels, busy on the agility field, long walks in the woods, on the back country roads and snuggles before bed, and that’s all absolutely wonderful; but it’s not a home.
It’s not snuggling on the sofa when you’re watching TV, it’s not getting that morning hug from your new family, and it’s not sitting at your window and watching the birds and squirrels in the yard, or greeting the mailman with bounces and barks. The current crop of JG jacks range from young ones, to older ones, to happy go lucky love everyone, and some that are very particular about their dog friends. Some are extremely energetic and need a very active and busy day, others are quite happy with some casual walks, and some need to play ball all day long, but every one of them appreciates a pat on the head and a good snuggle when the day is done.
We even have all sizes, from shortys to a very long legged tall jack, smooth coats and rough coats too! Jacks Galore feels that there is a jack out there for the true lovers of the breed, for those who really know what these dogs expect out of life, but also know how difficult and challenging they can be. We hope that this wonderful group of dogs that are currently residing in our care, will not spend the winter months with us, but that will be heading home to meet their new family and get to know their terrain before the snow starts falling.
Please take a look at some of our wonderful jacks ; Lily our two-year-old ball fanatic deaf girl, Skip a tall and leggy ueber energetic rough coat, Penelope the tiniest quickest extreme jack with a curly undocked tail, Drew an elegantly bred streamlined girl, Hugh and Daisy a pair of extreme hunters and amazingly affectionate devoted dogs, Penny a water loving timid long legged girl, new arrival Bodie an elegant, lean beautiful ball player who treads lightly where he steps and is cautious with the world, another new candidate Jackie, a stray of utmost delight who adores the world and is happy to have been “found”, and finally Rocky an elderly gentleman who wants to be loved again and make sure that there’s a dog door and ball to play with.
How can you not fall in love? So many in need, so many left behind, just waiting for that right person to take them home. Please adopt a jack from Jacks Galore, there’s never been a better time to pick a new pal. There are always more waiting in the wings.
