Summer Matching Fundraiser

Once again a most marvelous Connecticut couple and amazing supporters of Jacks Galore, has given us the challenge of the year. A $10,000 matching donation if we can come up with the funds by September 30. in other words they will match dollar for dollar up to $10,000.  This doubles any donation you might make so that Jacks Galore may continue their efforts on behalf of all needy jacks.

This will certainly take us through the holidays and end of the year and cover the costs incurred and anticipated for the next six months. As stated in our blog of August 20 we’re in desperate need of funds, and if all of you can find it in your heart to contribute whatever you’re able to Jacks Galore, then these wonderful CT supporters will once again match dollar for dollar up to $10,000!

For a small rescue like us, you have no idea what this means. We run a tight ship and count our pennies but the dogs are always our number one concern so we put a lot into their care: the best food, medication when needed, monthly heartworm preventive, flea and tick medication, and the best and most comprehensive vet care possible. We also make extra sure that every one of our little orphans gets the most perfect forever home.

So far this year we’ve adopted out more than 80 dogs, made possible by your support.  Those of you who are part of our sustaining donors program; have shopped through our Jacks Galore Amazon smile program; have donated throughout the year; and of course adopted a dog from us: you all make it happen! You’ve also been there for us with your kind words, emotional support, and wonderful gift packages of dog treats and toys.

So we’re asking you to please step up once again and help us meet this amazing challenge of 2016 – some gifts for all who donate – let’s prove it can be done, show one and all we DO have it in our hearts to keep JG alive, and help us make it through the end of the year in order to help those JRTs knocking at our door.  You can go to the 2016 Summer Fundraiser page to donate today!!!
