Energetic Eddie

ADOPTED!!!!  Eddie, now named MG, headed up to VT to keep his new mom and dad company, to enjoy his fully fenced yard which will sport a new dog door just for him, and lots of companionship; walks and travel to interesting places.  Belly rubs are given in large quantities, and MG will grace the lives of two very jack savvy parents, able to offer him the understanding that a quirky little jack needs.  A life full of attention, love and fun, enjoy your many years to come, and love life, you were meant to live it!!

A very enthusiastic jack, Eddie is a lean 15 pound, 4 year old tan and white, very soft rough coat male with boundless energy and jumping ability.  Eddie gets along with other dogs but can be a bit bossy when the excitement level rises too much.

He came to Jacks Galore from the same shelter in PA from which Skippy joined us; they have to move dogs “on” when there is no space.  Eddie speaks when he’s happy, when attention is due and when he wants you to know he’s ready to release some energy.  A lovely walker on a leash, Eddie loves long strolls with a sniffing, bouncing calm manner, and he just relishes the outdoors.  When in an enclosed area he runs like the wind and chases the ball and will retrieve if the game is in earnest, otherwise there are other things to take care of if you’re not really engaged!!

Eddie is housetrained, rides very well in the car and also will tolerate a crate.  Eddie is NOT fond of quick hand movements that come at him and he startles when this happens.  A reaction to something from his past perhaps?  A very cuddly, squirmy happy dog, he loves attention from his human, and back scratches and belly rubs rank very high on his list; just like a cat, Eddie will sashay between your legs with a grin on his face.

Eddie needs a knowledgeable dog owner, someone who will show him that a forever home is there for him and allow his enthusiasm for life to blossom. We have seen him run with joy; may he run to your home with that lovely leap?
