Penny is a long legged brown and white broken coated female who JUST turned seven. A delightfully sweet and kind girl, she lived with children, loved to go kayaking and be around her humans. Through no fault of her own, her person’s handicap no longer allowed them to keep her. A very sad day for her when she had to come to rescue, and she’s well aware that she needs to find a new home.
Penny absolutely adores playing ball in the typical jack fashion; she brings it back and asks you to toss it again and again. Penny is extremely obedient, she’s housetrained, she is crate trained; although would rather not be in one, and has a lot of energy to share with you.
The one thing that is true about Penny is we’ve been unable to get a great photograph of her, she’s constantly busy and active and wanting to be close to her playmate, Penny is such a beautiful little jack; but photographs much larger than she is, and her beautiful face just doesn’t translate well in pictures. She’s really a girl you need to come and meet.
She loves to go for long walks and does okay with other dogs in general, preferring the larger ones, but we still think Penny would do best as an only dog in a home. Penny can be quite the quiet girl and can entertain herself readily, but she’s extremely affectionate once she knows you and is a love bug to the max. If you take the time to meet Penny, we know you’ll be taken with her tenderness.
