Meet Punky and her son Angus. She’s a seven-year-old mom with her six-year-old son who came to Jacks Galore under very tragic circumstances, no longer able to live with their family when their mom was forced to leave her home. The eldest Jack found a home elsewhere, but Punky and Angus, two of the most endearing jacks there are, came to JG to find a forever home.
Punky is a shorty little tricolored female who is fabulous with other dogs and truly loves her son. Angus, a tricolored shorty male whose dad might not be of jack origin, is also friendly with all other dogs. They’re very devoted, extremely bonded, and Angus is very loving of his mom; Jacks Galore feels it would be impossible to separate them. Angus is definitely very reliant on his mother, and takes her every cue when it comes to both day-to-day living and playing.
Totally housebroken, crate trained as a pair, these two extremely well behaved little jacks just adore their people and will greet anyone with rapid tail wags. The two walk beautifully together on a leash, Angus very closely behind his mom, exploring every nook and cranny of their walk. Ball playing has to be at the top of their list when it comes to games. They run after the same ball like crazies with amazing speed, and whoever grabs it first finds the other one’s mouth attached as they run back to drop the ball at your feet for yet another toss.
They play together gently, sometimes wildly, but always with smiles on their faces and joy in their paws. They share absolutely everything, they can eat from the same bowl, will share bones, and sleep in the same bed huddled together closely for warmth and comfort. Two extremely gentle souls, deserving of a home where they will be given what they have lost.
Two jacks who were absolutely adored and well cared for are now looking for someone to take them on to the second phase of their lives. A person could not get more happiness from two little Jack Russells as dear as these.
